...and now its done !

Two instense days of carpenting. Our new desktop is fixed and all the installations are working as before. We also replaced the old glass-rinser (which we use for milkpitchers) for a larger one.

We' re very happy with the result and we really think it will last longer. It makes it much easier to keep at tidy workspace also.
We are very grateful to Søren Ulrich who has put it all in place. Søren is a furniture designer and carpenter who does all kind of projects.

Is it me or was your gb/5 previously low-riding, and now it's not?

That trim detailing is quite nice. I need some wider angles!

Yes, I really insisted on having some extra wood on the edges and knew Søren would be able to make it nice. Leaving the edges open could have been an option, the solid bamboo core could take it, it was rather the laminate that demanded some protection on the edges.

Don't have so much wider angles right now, but I just posted some more photos on our flickr.

You´re right Scott about the lowrider. The taller quys started wining about not reaching down when they were working.
You better listen to the tall guys...

Damn nice looking. I noticed the glass rinser last time I visited you guys. Now trying to convince the girl at home that we can't live much longer without one! :)
